This version is the one we will sing, but no lyrics. The next is in the wrong key, but has lyrics.

If I Could Fly Like A Snowflake
Words:
Winter:
If I could fly like a snowflake
I’d never ever land
I’d soar above all the oceans
And swoop across the sand
I would go up up up
I would go down down down
I would go side to side
And all around
If I could fly like a snowflake
I’d never ever stop
I’d zoom along in a valley
And buzz a mountain top
I would go up up up
I would go down down down
I would side to side
And all around
I would go up up up
I would go down down down
I would side to side
And all around
Spring:
I Can See Clearly Now
I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day.
I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day.
Look all around, there’s nothin’ but blue skies
Look straight ahead, nothin’ but blue skies
I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day.
It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day.
Summer:
Surfin’ USA
If everybody had an ocean
Across the U.S.A.
Then everybody’d be surfin’
Like californ-I-A
You’d see ’em wearin’ their baggies
Huarachi sandals, too
A bushy bushy blonde hairdo
Surfin’ U.S.A.
You’d catch ’em surfin at Del Mar (Inside, outside, U.S.A.)
Ventura County line
Santa Cruz and Tressels,
Australia’s Narabine,
All over Manhattan,
And down Doheny way
Everybody’s gone surfin’
Surfin U.S.A.
Fall:
September
Do you remember the 21st night of September?
Love was changing the mind of pretenders
While chasing the clouds away
Our hearts were ringing
In the key that our souls were singing
As we danced in the night
Remember, how the stars stole the night away,
Hey hey hey
Ba de ya, say do you remember
Ba de ya, dancing in September
Ba de ya, never was a cloudy day
Ba duda, ba duda, ba duda, badu
Ba duda, badu, ba duda, badu
Ba duda, badu, ba duda
Hey hey hey
Ba de ya, say do you remember
Ba de ya, dancing in September
Ba de ya, never was a cloudy day

2013 NC Honors Chorus Auditions
Hello all! It has been such a busy Spring! We’ve had some amazing performances, and we still have 5th grade graduation to go. I have loved meeting everyone this year, and I’m looking forward to more great performances and learning opportunities next year!
Speaking of next year, we will be auditioning again for the North Carolina Honors Chorus. This is a group that consists of 4th and 5th graders from all around the state who audition. The audition piece this year is “Wayfarin’ Stranger”. You can find a recording of the accompaniment here, as well as some information about this year’s conductor and the event in general. If you need the sheet music it can be ordered here. We will begin working on it together when school starts back in August, but it’s never too soon to start practicing!
Have a great summer and I look forward to seeing you in the fall!
